Having graduated from a four-year course at the Berkshire College of Art and Design, Richard spent two years in London working on the interiors of some of most luxurious and top hotels in the northern hemisphere. The contracts were predominately full turnkey operations.

Pacific Catch Ngai Tahu, Auckland Fish Market

Large retail outlet as part of the Auckland Fish Market and back of house processing areas of several other retail outlets in the Auckland area.

Opuke Hot Pools and Spa

Set on several acres of land only a few hundred metres from the centre of Methven is the award winning Opuke Hot Pools and Spa. The complex consists of a main building including reception changing facilities, spa, bar and restaurant.

Hokitika Swimming Pool

Stage 1 of the pool upgrade project was to lift the buildings %NBS to above 67%. This was completed by strengthening the existing roof structure and tying this into new wall and floor bracing. Stage 2 upgrade to the facilities can now be completed.

Intercontinental Hotel London

Refurbishment of the guest rooms with staging of three different options for the client approval. This included all soft furnishing and complete bathroom redesign and refurbishment.

Belgravia Sheraton

New design for the function rooms including wall floor treatments, lighting and upgrade of all services. Design build turnkey installation.

Presidents Hotel Berlin

New lobby bar and public area refurbishment including the main reception, concierge, lounge and restroom facilities.

Crest Hotel Gatwick (Sofitel)

Upgrade of the public areas including the addition of a spa and pool complex. Lobby, lobby lounge, restaurant and brasserie.

Dolphin Encounters Kaikoura

The existing building was an old retail outlet which was upgraded and refurbished to meet the functional requirements of this internationally recognised tourism venture.

James Cook Hotel Wellington

Upgrade of the 17th floor restaurant to Bentwood Brasserie including all design documentation and supply of soft fitout items.

Centra Hotel Auckland (Crowne Plaza)

Refurbishment of the public areas and the inclusion of a new sports bar “Legends”. Upgrade of the function and conference areas.

Force Entertainment Centre, Queen St Auckland

Four fast food outlets that combined to create a food court for the cinema complex. Each concept was unique yet they worked in conjunction with each other to give the area a modern unique feel.
